This blog is owned and operated by Skylar Van Kruistum.

I am a recent graduate from the Civil Engineering program at the University of Waterloo.  I’m currently working in the consulting industry in the tri-city (Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge).

Two things have caused this blog to come into existence:

• Engineering requires experience and knowledge within the industry.  Writing this blog helps me develop my knowledge within the civil engineering industry.

• There appears to be very few materials available to civil engineers on the internet.  Perhaps I can help fill this void.
